Fashion Parade
This is a Fashion Parade with a difference! You pay to enter ($5 per entry) and strut your stuff. You can also pay to enter your friends. But if your friends are too chicken to walk the catwalk, they can pay AGAIN ($10) to be struck from the list... All Fashion Parade proceeds will go to our chosen charity SecondBite.
We're thrilled to announce that our guest judge is leading Australian fashion designer Jenny Bannister! The Bannister label began at the height of the 1970s radical fashion movement, and later evolved into couture and up-market boutique styles. Currently, the National Gallery of Victoria is collecting Bannister's work from the 1970s and 1980s for their archives, with an exhibition to follow.
We just can't believe our luck that we have a bona fide designer judging our parade!
Fantastic Prizes
Make sure you bring along your credit card and folding money on the night. There are going to be so many fabulous prizes to win it's not funny. Here's a run down:
1. Major Prize - Catwalk King/ Queen
2. Charity Raffle - an array of goodies will be be up for grabs with our raffle. $5 per ticket or $20 for five tickets. You'll definitely want to win it so you'll be in it.
3. Silent Auction - we've come up with a fabulous idea... details to come!
Fabulous Tunes
Get your groove on with DJ Hakon Andersson and his deep and melodic house at the beginning of the evening, keeping it unobtrusive yet interesting; slowly raising the energy throughout as we continue to enjoy ourselves.
When it's time to hit the dance floor Hakon will spin familiar pop music remixes to get us moving - nothing too cheesy - this is a fashion event darhhhhling!
